On May 25th we participated in the IMPRONTE event, a city designed for children and young people, democratic and non-authoritarian, emancipatory and community-oriented.
Impronte / festival of community education was not only a beautiful and joyful moment, but also a moving one for those who, through this festival, try to tell a utopia and a daily practice at the same time. Organized by CentroFontiSanLorenzo and coordinated by Scarabò E.T.S., in collaboration with the partners of the Fonti Educating Neighborhood project: UniMC, Omphalos, What'sArt.

CIBOLIBERATUTTI AND THE MUNICIPALITY OF CASTELFIDARDO FOR THE MUSICAL "HELLO, I AM EVAN"
At the Astra cinema theater in Castelfidardo "Hi, I'm Evan" musical about youth distress organized by Ciboliberatutti, the "Stella" Theater Association of Porto Potenza Picena, the Municipality of Castelfidardo in collaboration with the Lions Clubs of Ancona, Osimo, and Castelfidardo and with the support of the Carilo Foundation.
The Stella company of Porto Potenza has been dedicated to musical theater for more than 20 years. The show is inspired by the famous Broadway musical, “Dear Evan Hansen,” which in just a few years has achieved great success, leading to the publication of a book and, more recently, a film adaptation. The main message of the show is that none of us is alone. The themes of the show revolve around young people and their problems, which, especially in recent years, have become increasingly evident: peer pressure, bullying, suicide, depression, and above all, hope.

PROJECT IN COLLABORATION BETWEEN “CIBOLIBERATUTTI” ASSOCIATION FOR THE PREVENTION OF CHILDHOOD OBESITY AND THE LIONS CLUBS OF CASTELFIDARDO-RIVIERA DEL CONERO, SENIGALLIA, OSIMO, ANCONA, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEDIATRIC ONCOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF SALESI
1 – BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: The project involves a theatrical performance to be held at the Astra cinema-theater in Castelfidardo on February 2, 2024 2 – SOCIAL RELEVANCE OF THE PROJECT a. OBJECTIVES: The project aims to raise awareness among young people on current issues related to social exclusion, suicidal thoughts, relational difficulties, abuse of food, social media, and technology (the now worldwide phenomenon, born in Japan, of the Hikikomori is well known) by communicating to those present the positive message of the possibility of change and opportunity through cooperation, solidarity, and the universal language of music and theater. The classes (selected based on the criteria of the relevant school institution) will participate free of charge in the morning theatrical performance. In the evening, the project then provides for a repeat performance open to the entire community with paid admission (methods to be agreed upon together). The proceeds will be managed by the CIBOLIBERATUTTI association and the participating Lions Clubs to be donated, net of expenses, to the pediatric oncology department of Salesi. Before the show, we plan to visit the schools that have joined (IIS LAENG MEUCCI of Castelfidardo and ALBERGHIERO EINSTEIN NEBBIA of Loreto) to introduce the topics of the show and address the main themes of the musical with the classes. During this presentation, a multidisciplinary path is planned to provide tools for understanding one's body, movement, and emotions (CIBOLIBERATUTTI PATH). For this, Dr. Rosalba Franco, a medical doctor specializing in nutritional sciences, President of the Ciboliberatutti Association, will be involved to help us focus attention on issues related to food and related disorders through a constructive and proactive approach. We are also available to provide teachers with a Guide on the themes of the show so that they can also work independently with their students during the weeks leading up to the show. b. EXPECTED BENEFITS: (specify the advantages that the recipients of the project will gain) To give young people a new experience, bring them closer to musical theater as an art form, raise awareness among young people on current issues, promote an educational path on these topics, and also ensure that the entire community can be involved in an open community logic that reflects and discusses issues that affect the lives of young people.

A partnership has been born in the name of health and good taste. The association Ciboliberatutti, a cultural association that deals with the prevention of childhood obesity through education on proper nutrition, and the Osimo-based micro-biscuit factory Frolla which promotes inclusion and good food, are working together to promote a lifestyle that is good for both body and soul.
During the launch event, with an aperitif strictly low in sugar and fat designed with the “Einstein-Nebbia” Hotel Institute of Loreto, which was held at the Caffè del Corso in Osimo (whose owner Massimo Gioacchini prepared the evening's menu), the new book by Elisa Caporalini “Il Mondo accanto” was also presented, an interesting work published by Giaconi Editore on a magnificent journey to discover the values of diversity and inclusion. Exceptional presenters of the event were the Radio Serena duo composed of Luca Tortuga and journalist Carla Latini, with a series of recreational activities for children thanks to Matteo Corvatta.
Dr. Rosalba Franco, president of Ciboliberatutti, said: “Together with Frolla we will design outreach events and create products low in sugar and fat for the health of the little ones, in line with our goal of preventing childhood obesity and promoting inclusion. We are very pleased to welcome Jacopo Corona, who joins Ciboliberatutti as a member and representative of the Frolla Cooperative, with whom we have signed the agreement for the 'Ciboliberatutti Center.' With his sensitivity, he has seen beyond, even in our collaboration.”
During the evening, a big surprise. Frolla announced the creation of the first biscuit low in fat and sugar: butter was replaced by ricotta and yogurt, sugar by stevia. It was tasted during the evening along with a tasty and healthy menu: pumpkin soup with oven-toasted bread croutons, classic lasagna with light béchamel, veal eye round with light sauce, natural cabbage, barley coffee scented with anise and milk foam, and flavored waters.
FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT WITH THE MUNICIPALITY OF RECANATI

We are proud to announce the signing of the framework agreement between our association Ciboliberatutti and the Municipality of Recanati in the presence of Mayor Antonio Bravi, Mayor of Recanati, and Councillor Rita Soccio.
A new important step to spread the culture of preventing childhood obesity, through educational and social initiatives. In particular, we will carry out an ambitious project that will embrace health, art, food, and music, with the aim of involving students in a creative and engaging learning path.

Inauguration of the educational space at the Loreto Hospitality Institute in collaboration with Ciboliberatutti
On May 5, the "green" educational space of the Loreto Hospitality Institute was inaugurated. An entire area has been transformed into a real vegetable garden, alongside spaces for reflection for teaching in a natural environment with as many as three "green classrooms": gazebos converted into fully equipped digital classrooms. Many authorities were present, coming to support the initiative. The excellent aperitif, based on vegetables from the garden, where even the drinks were decorated with edible flowers, was created in collaboration with the association "Ciboliberatutti", and the dishes prepared for the occasion anticipated the model of sustainable and "zero kilometer" cuisine. Further added value comes from the "Orto in condotta" project, which involves disabled students, thus also responding to the fundamental principles of inclusion that have always inspired us. The reference educational model is outdoor education, an educational methodology based on experiential learning, which uses the natural environment as a context to promote the learning and development of educational and psychophysical skills of the participants. In this way, a hands-on and action-based teaching is promoted, thanks to which the cognitive, affective, social, and motor dimensions are simultaneously involved.

SHOW EVENT IN SUPPORT OF THE “FROLLA” KIDS MARCH 31 AT THE "LA NUOVA FENICE" THEATER IN OSIMO
organized by the Lions Club of Osimo in collaboration with Ciboliberatutti, the Italian association for the prevention of childhood obesity.
Rosa Canina is a concert show in which different arts meet, intertwine and contribute, each with its own magic, to tell the story of Love, the feeling that more than any other envelops us, involves us and sometimes overwhelms us.
Love therefore understood as that driving force which, in its infinite facets, heals.
The notes and works of the great composers performed by the Trio “Le Rossignol”, soprano Soeun Jeon, flutist Paola Tarabusi and pianist Elena Stamera, the voice of actor Davide Bugari, the texts of Moreno Giannattasio, the magic of Niba, the dance of Valentina di Sante, the art of Franco Fontanella and Solange Fontanella, the creativity of designer and director Carlo Zenobi will give life to an intense event that will be able to touch the sensitivity of the theme of love on several levels, in its broad facets and in its whirling swing of emotions..
The entire population is invited to be present for a participation of common intent.
The proceeds will be donated to charity to the kids of the Frolla cooperative.

SIGNED MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH ACCADEMIA CHEF'S ASCOLI PICENO
Thanks to the support of our member Carla Latini, the memorandum of understanding was signed with Accademia Chef's of Ascoli Piceno, a renowned training and food and wine specialist school. The director, Dr. Roberto Morello, who shares our goals, will help spread the principles of Ciboliberatutti both in the academic world and among future chefs and pastry chefs.
Raising awareness and informing, suggesting more appropriate solutions to prevent childhood obesity, educating about a low-calorie but no less appetizing diet are principles that will find even wider and stronger dissemination in this agreement, because when food matters, Ciboliberatutti counts.

CIBOLIBERATUTTI SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH "G. VARNELLI" HOTEL INSTITUTE OF CINGOLI
A memorandum of understanding was signed with the "G. Varnelli" Hotel Institute of Cingoli.
A collaborative relationship aimed at promoting and developing initiatives to encourage the adoption of a healthy lifestyle through choices related to food as nourishment for the body and mind. The goal is to seek well-being through a conscious and supportive use of resources.
The collaboration between the “Varnelli” hotel school of Cingoli and CIBOLIBERATUTTI has begun.
In the presence of a first group of second-year students, a menu was put on the table, previously agreed upon and calibrated during a theoretical meeting with the students that took place the previous month. A “healthy” recipe does not mean low-calorie, and the students were able to see that it is possible to prepare a good dish where health at the table is combined not only with taste and flavor but also with caloric balance. A correct nutritional intake is desirable for a better quality of life and, let’s not forget, for prevention, because as we know… prevention is better than cure.
The students, under the expert guidance of cooking teacher Andrea Compagnucci, the diet doctor and also our president Rosalba Franco, assisted by member Laura Sanseverinati, nutritionist biologist, proceeded to prepare a complete menu that was extremely appetizing but low in sugars and fats, and therefore less caloric.
Spinach flan with light béchamel, potato flatbread with cured ham and grilled eggplant, polenta with red prawn sauce, mussels and clams, and for dessert, Caprese cake with citrus sauce.
A total of only 800 Kcal for a complete tasting.
Soon there will be a second appointment with another class, to discover new menus because…

CIBOLIBERATUTTI SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH EINSTEIN-NEBBIA HOTEL INSTITUTE OF LORETO
A memorandum of understanding was signed with the Einstein-Nebbia Hotel Institute of Loreto.
A collaborative relationship aimed at promoting and developing initiatives to encourage the adoption of a healthy lifestyle through choices related to food as nourishment for the body and mind. The goal is to seek well-being through a conscious and supportive use of resources.
Among the projects we will carry out together is that of creating quality products, low in calories with less fat and sugar content, taking into account the percentages of macro and micronutrients that must balance a recipe so that a dish is tasty and healthy. The project is organized with the evening classes and with the morning classes of the students.
Together with the reference teachers, such as Prof. Carlini, and the chefs who contributed their work, we have established theoretical frontal lessons and work groups for the practical part for the creation of recipes chosen together.
On December 2nd, together with the evening classes we worked in the kitchen. The menu consisted of:
-Steamed prawns in light pink sauce, sauce with almond pesto and yogurt, sauce with light mayonnaise and balsamic vinegar -Pumpkin and leek velouté with seared prawns, baked bread croutons, toasted pumpkin seeds and drops of low-fat yogurt -Mezze maniche rigate with green cauliflower emulsion, oven-toasted olives and dried cherry tomatoes -Regional and traditional recipe revisited: Aranci...snelli -Dessert of puffed rice with Modica chocolate and artisanal honey, Greek yogurt cream and chopped hazelnuts
On December 7th, instead, with the morning student classes we worked on this menu:

CIBOLIBERATUTTI PRESENTS ITSELF AT THE "LA NUOVA FENICE" THEATER IN OSIMO
A major event on food and bullying, created in a multidisciplinary way by the association for the prevention of childhood obesity "Ciboliberatutti," took place on September 11 at the La Nuova Fenice theater in Osimo. On this occasion, the book "Sotto il Segno della Bilancia" by Vittorio Graziosi and Fabio De Nunzio was presented. The event, sponsored by the Municipality of Osimo, was also attended by the vice president of the Marche Order of Psychologists Silvia Di Giuseppe, representatives of Univpm, and most of the local educational and training institutions. During the event, there were highly applauded musical performances by singer-songwriter Elisa Buontempo, accompanied for the occasion by Marco Fermani (keyboard and ukulele) and Marco Lorenzetti (percussion). In addition, actor Matteo Corvatta masterfully read some passages from the book "Sotto il Segno della Bilancia".
The president of the association, Dr. Rosalba Franco, explained: «The book deals with a biographical topic in a masterful way alongside the theme of bullying that the protagonist of the story experienced. Since the statute of "Ciboliberatutti" provides for help and support as well as information regarding bullying and cyberbullying for overweight and obese children, the topic was relevant to the evening. Our goal is to use all the disciplines of healthy nutrition that can lead the child to conscious growth. If the message of childhood obesity prevention from the association, for healthy nutrition, comes through a theatrical performance, a musical piece, a short film, in any way, we have already won».
From the stage, there was also the story of a young person: «Bullying is a scourge among children between eight and eleven years old especially – continued the doctor. One of our underage members shared his testimony. For privacy reasons, we did not let him speak, but he had already written down what had happened to him. He always kept a diary with negative statements about his condition, he did not feel good about his body. Thanks to multidisciplinarity, he managed to get out of his condition. Obesity is a disease, we would like to make people understand this and at the same time say that there is a solution. There is shame in recognizing it in a child, which creates too much protection at home and isolation outside, often overweight children do poorly at school. Food becomes a comfort and parents turn to specialists when the situation is already serious. Our young member decided to join our association because he wants to contribute, to tell his peers that it is possible to get out of this situation».
The event, which also featured an intervention by psychologist Vanessa Romoli, was successful with at least one hundred attendees: «We thank those present for attending our first presentation event. In particular, the municipal administration in the person of Mayor Simone Pugnaloni and the Councillor for Productive Activities Michela Glorio, who welcomed the association and its projects with great enthusiasm, always attentive, available, concrete, and supportive in the realization of this evening. Our thanks also go to the authorities present, to the representatives of the local educational and training institutions, to the presidents of the associations, to the doctors, friends, guest authors, and musicians who joined the initiative. CIBOLIBERATUTTI DONATES 20 SATURIMETERS TO CASTELFIDARDO
The association delivered to Mayor Roberto Ascani and Deputy Mayor Andrea Marconi a gift package containing 20 oximeters. "We are a newly established organization, founded last October in Osimo to prevent the phenomenon of childhood obesity, adopting a multidisciplinary approach: we put all our passion and expertise into starting children on a path to well-being, filling a gap in the information system in the face of the increase in a multifactorial disease," says President Rosalba Franco.
Through the volunteers of the municipal Civil Protection group, the Municipality has already started delivering the oximeters to the homes of Fidardensi residents. "We will continue with the distribution until supplies run out, while also expanding the audience: not only to families with minors and elderly people managing Covid positivity, but also to individuals suffering from chronic diseases, as indicated by general practitioners," explains Deputy Mayor Andrea Marconi.

THE CIBOLIBERATUTTI ASSOCIATION IS BORN
On the occasion of the celebration of Obesity Day, the national awareness campaign for the prevention of obesity and overweight, “Ciboliberatutti” was established, the Italian cultural association for the prevention of Childhood Obesity.
Ciboliberatutti was born from a shared idea, as can be seen from the words of the president, Dr. Rosalba Franco, medical doctor specialized in Food Science, who has been engaged for years in the study and treatment of childhood and other forms of obesity, both from a clinical and social perspective: “We strongly wanted and agreed to create this association because there is a significant inconsistency between the increase of the phenomenon—Italy is in first place in Europe for childhood obesity despite being the home of the Mediterranean diet—and the concrete initiatives to contain it. The new challenges in health prevention, especially for the youngest, must involve multidisciplinarity, those transversal alliances that are established among all the actors in the chain, and effective planning. Children, as they grow, receive inputs of all kinds and, if involved, becoming themselves protagonists of initiatives across the board (music, art, entertainment, cooking, sports), then food will become for them nourishment not only for the body but also for the mind, starting them on a path to health understood as the achievement of psychophysical well-being.”
A vision shared by all the founding members of Ciboliberatutti, a team of professionals from the health sector and beyond who, making their expertise, time, and heart available, gathered at the Hotel Concorde in Camerano in the province of Ancona, contributing to this noble cause by founding the Association.
Ciboliberatutti will not have a therapeutic role but will promote, in a multidisciplinary way, activities and events aimed at the prevention of obesity, especially childhood obesity, inspired exclusively by the principles dictated by the rules of the WHO (World Health Organization) and the WCRF (World Cancer Research Fund) in order to share “FOOD” as art, music, health, culture, and entertainment. By involving organizations, companies, universities, Italian and foreign institutes, public administrations, and HoReCa, Ciboliberatutti hopes to draw attention to discomfort with the participation of all.
